On October 2019, Chef Abhinanda collaborated with Chef Ananya Banerjee and they hosted a pop up in Flavour Diaries. It was a full house event where they curated a menu to highlight the nuanced differences in cooking styles of Ghotis(Bengalis home grown in West Bengal) and Bangals(Bengalis who came before partition from East Bengal). It was a themed event; a food war. The event was captured prolifically by social media and print media. There were 24 dishes served in an old fashioned sit-down format. The pop up was a super-duper success. The event was sponsored by Sula Wines, Moonshine Meadery and Blue Pine Water.
