This cake recipe is very different. It was called a crazy cake as it was created during depression when even adding eggs to cake was luxury. It works for me now as I get eggless dessert requests often.
My food word for this recipe would be moist.
When you go out shopping look for;
All purpose flour
Castor sugar
Salt
Baking soda
Cocoa powder
Vegetable oil
White vinegar
Vanilla extract
The recipe would be;
Take three cups of all purpose flour, less than two cups castor sugar, one tsp salt, two tsp baking soda and half cup cocoa. Now sift this all together. Once done, make three wells in the dry mix. In one well, pour in three fourth cup vegetable oil and in the second well pour two tbsp distilled white vinegar. Finally into the third well pour in two tsp vanilla extract. Next pour in two cups of cold water and fold well with a cake spatula.
Pour into a prepared cake tin, use a large tin, nine by thirteen inch is a good size. Bake at one hundred and seventy five degrees centigrade for about thirty mins or till the cake needle comes out clean.
Enjoy once cooled. The texture of the cake is moist and rich.
